Wedding Accommodation at Slane Castle

A wedding at Slane Castle is more than a single day. Staying within the Castle allows your closest family and friends to share more of the experience, from the anticipation before the ceremony to breakfast together the following morning.
Slane Castle now offers ten guest bedrooms, accommodating up to 27 guests. Our seven characterful Castle bedrooms have been joined by three newly refurbished rooms, creating more space for the people closest to you.
Three newly refurbished bedrooms
The Windsor Room, Lord Slane’s and The Bachelors are the latest additions to the Castle’s accommodation.
Each bedroom sleeps two guests and has its own en suite.
The Windsor Room and Lord Slane’s also offer the option of an additional double day bed, providing greater flexibility for wedding parties and families.
Seven individually designed Castle bedrooms
The three new rooms join Slane Castle’s seven existing bedrooms:
- The Lilac Room
- Lady Janes
- The King’s Room
- The Earl and Countess
- The Anglesea
- Lady Henrietta
- The Hunting Room
Each room has its own character, with individual furnishings and features that reflect the history of the Castle. Highlights include four-poster beds and the King’s Room’s distinctive claw-foot bath.
Space to relax between the celebrations
Overnight guests also have access to the Lord Lieutenant’s, a shared lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
The space provides somewhere to gather over a cup of tea, prepare a light refreshment or enjoy a quiet moment during a busy wedding weekend.

Together, Slane Castle’s ten bedrooms can accommodate up to 27 guests.
The total capacity includes the Earl and Countess annex, the additional single bed in The Anglesea and two pull-out beds that can be added to suitable rooms.
