A new chapter has begun for weddings at Slane Castle.

Slane Castle is proud to present The Courtyard Pavilion, an elegant new setting for celebrations of more than 200 guests. Three newly refurbished bedrooms have also opened within the Castle, bringing our total accommodation offering to ten bedrooms for up to 27 guests.

Set within one of Ireland’s most iconic private estates, Slane Castle hosts bespoke weddings from intimate Castle gatherings to spectacular larger celebrations, each thoughtfully curated and entirely personal.

Whether you imagine an elegant candlelit dinner beneath historic ceilings or a vibrant, music-filled celebration worthy of Slane’s legendary reputation, our dedicated team will shape every detail around you.

The Courtyard Pavilion at Slane Castle

The newly launched Courtyard Pavilion creates an extraordinary setting for weddings of more than 200 guests.

Positioned within the historic Castle Courtyard, the Pavilion combines a beautifully crafted timber structure with natural canvas, elegant interiors and views that connect the celebration with its remarkable surroundings.

Couples can welcome guests inside the Castle before moving into the Pavilion for dinner and return to the Castle for evening entertainment and dancing.

The result is a seamless celebration that brings together the grandeur of Slane Castle, the atmosphere of the Courtyard and the freedom to host everyone you love in one unforgettable setting.

Wedding Accommodation

Slane Castle now offers ten guest bedrooms, accommodating up to 27 guests and allowing more of your closest family and friends to stay at the heart of your wedding celebration.

Our seven individually designed Castle bedrooms have been joined by three newly refurbished rooms: The Windsor Room, Lord Slane’s and The Bachelors. Each new room sleeps two and has its own en suite, while The Windsor Room and Lord Slane’s can also accommodate an additional double day bed.

Guests have access to the Lord Lieutenant’s, a shared lounge and fully equipped kitchen where they can relax between the celebrations.

Additional accommodation is available across the Slane Estate and in nearby Slane village, including glamping and holiday homes at Rock Farm Slane.
