Browne’s Bar

Is currently closed to the public, but is bookable for private events at any time and seats up to 30 people in a cosy Irish bar setting with memorabilia from 40 years of Slane Concerts. The Slane Castle team offer private dining and party packages throughout the year with accommodation and other event space options including the larger Gandon Room.

Browne’s Bar is named after the legendary House-Keeper in the Castle, Mary Browne. Designed in an eclectic fashion and featuring Rock n’Roll memorabilia of the many artists who have performed at the Castle over the years. This cosy space featuring leather and tartan seating, also has an unusual snug capable of seating up to 8-9 people, for a quiet drink. The Gandon Room is open for private events and the afternoon tea experience. Booking required.
