Intimate Weddings
We specialise in intimate weddings of 15 guests and above. A tailormade package is available for your intimate wedding with a range of options available to make your day truly and uniquely yours.
Gothic Ballroom Weddings
The amazing Ballroom is an ideal venue for small, informal, or intimate banquets for up to 106 guests.
Courtyard Marquee Weddings
For larger celebrations we would organise an outdoor marquee which caters for 107-250 guests, this would be positioned in the Castle Courtyard right next to the Castle itself.

For those opting for a weekend event, we give you the time and space to truly make the Castle your own for the entire weekend with exclusive use: welcome your guests with a festive rehearsal celebration on Friday, celebrate your dream wedding day on Saturday, and unwind with a relaxed organic Pig on a Spit or BBQ gathering on Sunday.
Here at our enchanting wedding venue over 230 years of history and grandeur are the magnificent backdrop for couples to celebrate their joy with friends and family. Under turrets and towers a soundtrack of music, love and romance create a lifetime of special memories.
Accommodation
The Slane Castle Suite (5-bed or 3-bed Apartment)
Experience the grandeur of Slane Castle with an exclusive stay in The Slane Castle Suite – a luxurious private residence offering the flexibility of a 3-bedroom or 5-bedroom configuration. Nestled within Slane Castle’s historic walls, this elegant first-floor suite combines timeless charm with modern comforts, providing an unforgettable escape.
As per the Availability Calendar choices, you can book either the spacious 5-bedroom apartment, which sleeps up to 12 guests, or opt for a 3-bedroom configuration, accommodating up to 6 guests, subject to a shorter lead time availability. Each room has been thoughtfully designed to ensure an unforgettable stay in a setting rich with history and grandeur.
Please note: The 3-bedroom and 5-bedroom apartments share the same rooms, except for the Hunting Room and Anglesey Room, which are exclusive to the 5-bedroom apartment.

Rock Farm Slane
Meet real life Rock Farm Bride Elle on the stand at the RDS this weekend.
Your alternative style wedding venue…have you ever dreamt of a magical woodland setting for your wedding day surrounded by nature and ones you love? Picture yourself with us at Rock Farm Slane. Our lush parkland, meadows, magical woods and river settings will captivate you and your guests on your Big Day. We specialise in bespoke weddings on this private part of the Slane Castle Estate.
The Venue
Rock Farm Slane have been hosting weddings since 2014.
Most of our couples opt for a combination of outdoor ceremony using our large stretch tent on the Glamping followed by a drink’s reception at the Glamping Shack or Lime House, with dinner and dancing in the Hay Barn. The Hay Barn is located beside the Lime House and can seat up to 200 guests at long banquet style tables offering a relaxed rustic barn wedding style.
Catering
Rock Farm Slane is a working organic farm, and we provide all the catering onsite. We have a range of menus from BBQ Mixed Grill and Pig on a Spit to a four course menu with Vegetarian and Vegan options available. A buffet style menu is perfect if you are looking for a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Intimate Weddings
We also offer small Intimate Weddings and Glamping or Lime House Only weddings (excluding the Hay Barn).

Boutique Camping
Rock Farm’s star attraction is the boutique campsite which can sleep up to 32 people sharing in our luxury Yurts and romantic Shepherd’s Huts.
The Limehouse Eco Guesthouse
The Lime House is a strawbale house that can sleep up to 22 sharing.
Couple’s Accommodation
The Swallows Nest is situated in the secluded House Field overlooking untouched Meath countryside and woodlands. It offers a secluded spot for the bridal couple to celebrate their wedding night and as a perfect honeymoon hide-away for you both to relax in after your wedding day. More details.
