Love is in the air – at Slane Castle

Celebrate St. Valentine’s Day with dinner for two in the historic surrounds of Slane Castle in the Boyne Valley. Valentine’s dinner is available on Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th February only.
The evening begins with a welcome glass of bubbly in the unique setting of Browne’s Bar, a cosy pub with an absorbing Slane rock concert theme. Memorabilia from 40 years of concerts make mesmerising reading. If the walls could talk, they’d tell some stories!
The delicious four-course dinner menu is served in the chic Gandon Restaurant designed in a warm, inviting club style. The seasonal menu is designed around the superb produce of Slane and its environs. Star of the show is a Chateaubriand for two using organic Dexter beef from Rock Farm on Slane Castle Estate. Vegetables from Rock Farm, Boyne Valley Farmhouse Cheese and Slane Whiskey also appear on the menu. Dietary requirements can be catered for but these must be advised when bookings are made.
The cost is €110 per couple and advance reservations are essential as tables are strictly limited.
