We cater for a board meeting from 10 to an exclusive banquet to 500 people. Conferences and banquets can be held in various rooms such as the Drawing room, Dining room, Gandon Room, Burton Hall or the Ballroom depending on your requirements.
This amazing Neo-Gothic Ballroom was completed in 1821 for the visit of King George IV. The marble statues and the stunning ceiling, all add to the charm of this unique Ballroom, which is an ideal venue for small, informal or intimate banquets or events for up to 110 guests.
The Burton Hall & Phoenix Room
Situated on the top floor of the Castle, this imposing open space combines The Burton Hall and Phoenix Rooms. Innovatively restored to produce an award winning space, making it a modern yet historic room. It can also be fully blacked out for conferences, and can seat up to 240. The rich tones and the high ceiling with stunning chandelier make this the ideal venue for a memorable dining experience for gala dinners and events.
The Main Hall
Designed by James Wyatt and Francis Johnston, this magnificent hall is perfect for a champagne reception and a warm welcome for your guests.
The Gandon Room
The Lower Ground Floor Conference Centre with a separate entrance consisting of The Gandon Room and Browne’s Bar.
Supported by four elegant pillars, the Gandon Room is the ideal venue to hold a board meeting or a conference. Located on the lower ground floor of the Castle, the Gandon Room has its own separate entrance, full black out, ISDN and can facilitate up to 80 delegates theatre style. Browne’s Bar can be used for catering or as a breakout room. Audio visual equipment can be organized.
