Q: How much are tickets for the Halloween Halls?
A: Tickets for the Halloween Halls are €22 per Child and €10 per Adult

Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets can be booked online via our website with a laser, debit or credit card.

Q: Do I need to pre-book?
A: Yes, The Halloween Halls tours are booked intricately ahead of time and need to be pre-planned.

Q: What does my ticket include?
A: Halloween Halls ticket includes a visit to Slane Castle to meet various characters of the wizarding world featuring the Original Tale of Samhain, visit to our Potions Room, School of Spells and a visit to our Whomping Willow tree to collect your complimentary pumpkin. Visit also includes a yummy Chocolate Frog and letter of acceptance into our Great Hall.

Q: What time should I arrive?
A: The Halloween Halls is a timed experience so punctuality is essential. Families should arrive and check in at least 10 minutes before booked slot.

Q: What happens if I miss my slot?
A: If you fail to show for your scheduled time you will miss your experience and forfeit all monies paid. *please note, this also applies to late arrival due to any delays which may occur in the service of food in The Gandon Room restaurant.

Q: I don’t have a computer, how do I book my ticket?
A: We encourage all bookings to be made online via our website on a computer or device e.g. a Smartphone. But if you require assistance, please contact the office on 041 988 4477.

Q: Will there be ATM facilities on site?
A: There will be limited ATM facilities available. We strongly advise all patrons to bring requested cash with them to the event.

Q: My child is under 1 do I need to buy a ticket?
A: Once a guardian has purchased a ticket for The Halloween Halls, Children 0 – 2 yrs can go free of charge.

Q: I didn't receive my confirmation email, what do I do?
A: First check your junk mail. Should you have not received a confirmation email please contact our office on 041 988 4477.

Q: Can I get a refund?
A: We regret that tickets to The Halloween Halls are non refundable.

Q:How long does the tour last?
A: Your experience within the Castle will last between 40 minutes & 1 hour.

Q: Are buggies allowed?
A: Buggies are not permitted on the Halloween Halls experience however, we will have a designated buggy bay where they can be collected afterwards.

Q: Can I take my own photos?
A: Yes, please bring cameras, phones, extra batteries, whatever you need; there will be many photo opportunities along your journey throughout the rooms of the castle.

Q: Is there parking available on site?
A: Yes, the car park is located on the Slane Castle grounds in front of the Castle however please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Please note, no parking is permitted on Castle Lawns, overflow parking is available at the Distillery.

Q: Is The Halloween Halls wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes the castle is fully wheelchair accessible but should you have any special requirements please email: info@slanecastle.ie

Q: Is the event indoors or outdoors?
A: The Halloween Halls is located on the ground floor of the castle. Our pumpkin patch is located outdoors on the estate of the castle so appropriate footwear and clothes are advised.

Q: What food options are available at Slane Castle?
A: Families are welcome to dine in Browne’s Bar and Gandon Room, for information and bookings, please call 041 988 4477 or email hospitality@slanecastle.ie. It is advised that you book to dine in the restaurant after you have taken your Halloween Halls tour.

Dublin to Slane Castle
Distance: 30 miles Time: Approx 48mins
Follow signs for N2 Derry. The N2 will take you directly into Slane village. At the crossroads arriving into Slane turn left onto the N51. (signposted for Navan) The Castle entrance is along this road, on the left opposite the turnoff for Kells.

Belfast to Slane Castle
Distance: 79 miles Time: Approx 1 hr 40 mins
Follow M1 motorway to the A101 junction, signposted’ The South, Dublin’. Leave the motorway & follow signs for Dublin. Follow signs for Dublin onto the M1 motorway. Approx. 20 miles on the motorway take the exit for the N51 signposted for Slane. Follow N51 into Slane village. (approx. 6 miles) At lights, go straight following signs for Navan. Follow this road, the castle entrance is on the left, opposite the sign for Kells.

Q: Can I purchase a Family Ticket?
A: Unfortunately not, all tickets are individually priced.

Q: We have a large group and can't seem to book all the tickets online?
A: Halloween Halls tickets are limited to a particular number of tickets per slot but should you have any special group requirements please email info@slanecastle.ie and we will assist you with your booking.
