June 6th 2008 saw the first ever Civil Wedding ceremony performed in Burton Hall, Slane Castle. The couple, Julie Lyles and Frank McKevitt, were delighted to make history within the walls of the eighteen century castle. Guests flew to Dublin from as far as Texas to attend the wedding and were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic day of sunshine they received. The couple themselves couldn't have been happier with the outcome of their special day.
