The Rolling Stones – A Bigger Bang Tour

 

Slane Castle – 18th August 2007


On the 18th August 2007, The Rolling Stones once again rocked the Castle as they took to the biggest stage and set ever built at Slane Castle. Twenty five years after they first played at Slane they were greeted back by fans , old and new to watch them perform. 80,000 people came to see an amazing performance by The Rolling Stones, the atmosphere was electric and the evening came to a spectacular end with a colourful firework display over the river Boyne.

 

Whilst 500 guests dined in Slane Castle, including Lord Henry Mount Charles’s family and friends, other guests enjoyed the VIP facilities laid on for them, including onsite car parking, private bars, champagne and seafood restaurant, food court, coffee docks and outdoor furnished garden areas. The highlight of course was the grandstand seating, located beside the Castle with the best possible panoramic views of the concert.

Red Bull X-Fighters – Saturday 26th May, 2007

The Redbull X-Fighters World series, one of the most exciting live sporting spectacles in the world came to Slane Castle on Saturday 26th May 2007. Ten of the world’s best FMX (Freestyle motorcross ) riders competed for  the title of High Kings X-Fighters in what was without a doubt a mind-blowing experience for all who attended. Corporate Solutions were appointed to manage the catering for the VIP area enjoyed by over 1,000 PAX, the pre-event gala dinner was attended by the rider and Lord Henry Mount Charles and the pre-event press conference which took place in the Castle.
