Slane Rocks!

This boutique blend comes from the legendary Irish home of rock n’roll – Slane Castle, Co. Meath, Ireland.

In 2009, at the Oasis concert, Henry, The Eighth Marquess Conyngham, and his son Alex, The Earl of Mount Charles launched the Conyngham family’s latest venture Slane Castle Whiskey. The family have enjoyed Irish Whiskey for generations and one hundred years ago there were many family owned distilleries spread throughout Ireland. Today there are only four distilleries in Ireland and with Slane Castle Whiskey the Conyngham family is looking to resurrect the tradition of the family owned Irish whiskey.

Slane Castle Whiskey is a small batch, premium blend of Irish single malt and grain whiskeys which are made and matured in the traditional Irish style that has remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years. No peat is used in making the malting process which means that whiskey has ‘less bite and more smooth’. The whiskey is produced at the Cooley Distillery where the Master Blender selects the unique combination of single malt and grain casks that makes up the Slane Castle Whiskey blend.
