Slane Castle Whiskey is a premium blended whiskey that is ideal for drinking on its own either neat or with a little water. Many people like to drink it on the rocks as a ‘Slane Rocks’ or feel free to try it with your favourite mixer or as a cocktail ingredient. Here are some of our favourite cocktail recipes:

 

Ingredients:

• Shot of Slane Castle Whiskey
• quarter of a lime, cut into segments
• Two teaspoons of Demerara sugar
(you can use sugar syrup instead)
• Fresh mint leaves
• Crushed ice
• Sparkling water

How to make it:

• Muddle the lime, sugar, and Slane Castle Whiskey together
• Add mint leaves to mix and gently muddle them
• Shake mix with crushed ice
• Pour into glass and top up with sparkling water
• Stir and serve

Ingredients:

• Shot of Slane Castle Whiskey
• Half a shot of Triple Sec
• Half a shot of freshly squeezed lemon juice
• Crushed ice
• Lemonade

How to make it:

• Pour Slane Castle Whiskey, Triple Sec and lemon juice into shaker with ice and shake
• Strain over crushed ice
• Top up with lemonade
• Stir and serve, garnish with a lemon slice

Ingredients:

• Shot of Slane Castle Whiskey
• Quarter of a shot of Creme de Cassis
• Half a shot of freshly squeezed lemon juice
• Crushed ice
• Ginger beer

How to make it:

• Pour Slane Castle Whiskey, Creme de Cassis and lemon juice into shaker with ice and shake
• Strain over crushed ice
• Top up with ginger beer
• Stir and serve, garnish with a lime slice
