I have, like many others, a growing concern about the stability of this government. Over the last couple of weeks I have outlined the myriad of problems this nation is facing and now as a potential banking crisis looms in Germany, which could have a profound effect on the Eurozone, the Taoiseach’s musing on his mojo border on the pathetic.
Thursday brought a smile to my face. Bob Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
I think I must be suffering from political anorak disease because I stayed up on Wednesday night to watch the last of the U.S. Presidential debates. It was a pretty unedifying experience and served as yet another reminder of how depressing it is to have two such unattractive candidates for the Presidency.
